The news of death of Sushant Singh Rajput has shocked the whole nation. This 34 year old talented actor was found dead this Sunday in his Mumbai apartment. The Mumbai Police are suspecting death by suicide.
The actor whole became famous after his role in the TV show Pavitra Rishta (2009-2011). He also won the best TV actor award for this show. After working in numerous TV reality show, Sushant got his first movie break in Kai Po Che which was a great hit. He was also nominated for best debutant actor for his acting. After Kai Po Che actor has appeared in many successful movies like Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), PK (2014), Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015), MS Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), Kedarnath (2018), Sonchiriya (2019) and Chhichhore (2019).

He was a Scholar and National Olympiad Winner in Physics
Sushant Singh Rajput was born in Patna and after the death of his mother in 2002 the family moved to Delhi. Sushant was very good in studies. According to Sushant he got an outstanding seventh rank in DCE Entrance Exam in 2003. He was also a National Olympiad Winner in Physics at that time. We wanted to become an engineer and it is known that he cleared the total of 11 engineering exams at that time. He easily secured admission in Delhi College of Engineering as a Mechanical Engineer. But, later he dropped out from college in his fourth year to follow his acting career.
Sushant Singh Rajput Sister is a State Level Cricketer
Sushant Singh Rajput sisiter Mitu Singh is state level cricketer and according to him his Kai Po Che character was very similar to his sister. In an interview he said that whatever he did in Kai Po was because of his sister Mitu Singh.
Joined Shiamak Davar Dance Classes
Rajput enrolled in Shiamak Davar dance classes while he was a student at Delhi Technological University. Sushant was already a good dance and doesn’t take him a long time to get selected as a member in Shiamak standard dance troupe. He was a background dancer in 51st Filmfare Awards which held in 2005. He was also part of the dance troupe who went to perform in 2006 Commonwealth Games Australia. This was the time he dropped out of the college and devoted himself to dancing and acting.
Joined Acting Classes at Barry John’s
While he was attending dancing classes his fellow mates who were also interested in acting and were attending Barry John’s drama classes. This influenced Sushant and he also started attending drama classes. He was a great Sharukh Khan fan and when he get to know that Sharukh also took acting classes at Barry John’s he got more interested.

Sushant Singh Rajput also Joined Nadira Babbar’s Ekjute Theatre Group
He wanted to get a break in acting industry and for that reason he moved to Mumbai. In Mumbai he joined Nadira Babbar’s Ekjute theatre group to show people his acting talent. He remained in the group for two years.
First Break in TV Advertisement for Nestle Munch
During the time he was doing theatre he got his first break in TV advertisement for Nestle Munch which became very famous throughout India.
Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and Pavitra Rishta
In 2008, he got his first break when Balaji Telefilms offered him the role of Preet Juneja in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil on Zee TV. Although his character died early on the show but he became popular with the viewers and was brought back as a spirit in the finale episode.
While working on the show Etka kapoor offered him Pavitra Rishta which came in 2009 and was a tremendous hit. Sushant also received three television awards for best male actor and most popular actor. It was his performance in Pavitra Rishta that got him a break in film industry.
Sushant Also Joined some Dance Reality Shows
In 2010, he joined a dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha 2. He was already a good dancer and wanted to train a little futher that why he joined that show. He also dedicated a full performance to his mother on the show, who died in 2002.
In the end of the same year he joined another dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4 and was paired with choreographer Shampa Sonthalia.
6 years relationship with Ankita Lokhande
While he was doing Pavitra Rishta he fall in love with his co partner in the serial Ankita Lokhande and they were six years in relationship. They were still in relationship when he got his first movie Kai Po Che!. But later he got involved with the actress Rhea Chakraborty and the longtime relationship comes to an end.
Kai Po Che
Sushant auditioned for Kai Po Che! whose director was Abhishek Kapoor. He passed the audition and got his first break in the Bollywood. The film was a success and Sushant acting was highly acclaimed by the critics. Critic Rajeev Masand wrote in his critics that a new star is born.
After that there was no stop and he has worked in many good films one of them is PK which is known to everyone.

If you are not aware that Sushant Singh Rajput had trained at NASA’s US Space & Rocket Center (USSRC) in Huntsville for his upcoming space adventure ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’. Sushant had a great interest in Astronomy and wanted to make India’s first space flick. Bollywood has never made any movie which shows Space and Astronauts. He even withdrew from the movie ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ so that he could one of his own.
His mother was very close to his heart
Sushant was very close to her mother. When his mother died in 2002 he was very sad and was finding it difficult to forget her. This was the reason his father decided to leave Patna and shift to Delhi so that he could think about his future. He also occasionally shares her mother photos on Instagram and remember her.
Sushant Last Recorded Call was to his Friend Mahesh Shetty
According to the media last call made from his phone was to his close friend Mahesh Shetty who was his costar in Pavitra Rishta. He called him late night at 1.30 am which he did not picked later Mahesh called him in the morning which Rajput did not picked.
He stopped taking his Depression Medicines
According to the source it has been revealed that Sushant was in depression from two months. It is believed that he was not happy with his love life. He was prescribed medices by the doctor but recently he stopped taking them too. Few days back he called his sister and in the call it is recorded that he said he was not well. Because of this call his sister came to his house and stayed for two days and then left.
Projects which he was working on are Cancelled
He was working on two films Chanda Mama Door Ke and Takadum. Chanda Mama Door Ke starring him and R. Madhavan is a science-fiction space film and Takadum is a musical drama starring him, Irfan Khan and Parineeti Chopra.
He was also set to work a biopic series on Stories of India where he was about to essay 12 real life characters like Chanakya, Rabindranath Tagore and APJ Abdul Kalam.
