10. Blade of the Immortal (2017)
Blade of Immortality is a Japanese live action movie based on anime series of the same name. It is a samurai film which was released in 2017 by Warner Bros. Pictures in Japan.
The story is based on a immortal samurai named Manji who becomes the bodyguard of an orphan girl named Rin Asano. It is a journey of revenge of these two against the members of samurai group who killed the child’s parents.
In the movie Manji is shown as a dark hero and there are multiple bloody scenes in the movie.
The movie received positive reviews from the critics but was not welcomed by the audience maybe because people might be comparing it with the anime. But movie is worth watching because the director has handled the fight scenes accurately and the relationship between the two main characters was appreciable.

According to the plot a mysteries alien race invade the earth and started taking control of human brain by infecting them. When one of them tries to infect the high school student named Shinichi Izumi, it makes some error and ends up in controlling only the boy right hand.
The movie received mixed reviews from the critics but audience like this movie. One of the editors of Japan Times stated that the film adaptation if Parasyte was unable to find a sweet spot between black comedy and serious sci-fi horror.
According to Peter Debruge of Variety, the film boasts a sleek, shadowy look, though it brightens up considerably when Shinichi’s at school, which is where the big showdown unspools.
Movie also received a good audience score of 73% on Rotten Tomatoes and grossed approximately $9.7 million worldwide.

This anime is a story of a famous pianist, Kousei Arima, who part ways with his musical life after the death of his mother.
Two years later, while he was still living colorless life with his two friends, he met a beautiful violinist, Kaori Miyazono.
Kaori changed his messy life and encouraged him to face the music again.
